The largest travel event in Vietnam is set to take place on September 7-9, 2023 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 17th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) – themed Connectivity, Growth, Sustainability – will offer three full days of opportunities to network with international and local exhibitors, as well as high-level forums, informative seminars, and exciting entertainment experiences.

This year, ITE HCMC 2023 will be double in scale compared to last year with the event expected to attract leaders from both local (70%) and international (30%) travel industries featuring over 400 exhibitors and brands.

National tourism organisations from Cambodia, Chile, Taiwan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand are all expected to be in attendance.

ITE HCMC 2023 will be held in a hybrid format, combining physical booths and 2D online booths. The online booths will inform international buyers about products, services and a pre-appointment booking system to connect with sellers.

The local experience areas will also be a highlight of this year’s expo with displays introducing unique cultural features of Vietnam to international firms and the public through handicrafts, coffee, traditional art workshops, and more.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism will also cooperate with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to organise activities such as a gala dinner at which the World Travel Awards for Asia and Oceania will be presented.
